The winner is determined according to the hands that they hold by comparing in the showdown. The royal flush is the most powerful hand that you can hold in the game of poker and with a royal flush you can bet confidently and assure your win.
The royal flush is a poker hand that is constituted of the series AKQJ10 of the same suite. This is one series that is very hard to obtain but if you get them then there is no doubt for winning the pot and almost 95% of the win is assured in case of a royal flush. You should not scare away your opponents and make them fold their cards soon with a royal flush, instead you have to be very tactical and make them bet more clay chips in the pot. Table positions largely governs your moves and the way you are playing as well as help you determine how much clay poker chips you can stake. By table position you mean the position in which the player is seated from the dealer or the dealer button. To observe the behavior of your opponents is very essential to make your bets favorable and limit your losses. Hence the table position of a person governs his chance for observing his opponents. The further he sits from the dealer button the better he can view his opponents as he gets the chance of viewing their moves and judging their hands to play accordingly.

The late positions are definitely the most favorable position in poker as the player in late position gets the chance of staking their clay chips only at the end of the game hence providing the benefit of viewing other players bet. In early position the players have got limited knowledge of the hands of their opponents hence they would have to limit their bets even if they have got a good hand due to the reason that they have got least knowledge of the hands that their opponent’s posses. The further you are from the dealer towards the left the better you can play.

Poker - Preparation methods for cash games

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Texas holdem poker games in which each clay poker chip represents instant cash value are a different animal. I find that these are much more difficult to prepare for because there is no set changing format going in. Also, there is no beginning and end. One can usually pick up their poker chips at any time and exit the game. I personally have found sometimes in these situations preparation can be even detrimental. Players come and go from the table.

Why specific preparation can be detrimental is that the mood of the game can sharply change at any time. For example, you’ve been preparing for a cash game with the intention of taking off the gloves and playing aggressive cards at the poker table for the evening. You have your world tour poker chips stacked nicely. You bring two buy in’s for the game and in the first hand you have a huge bad beat for your entire first buy in. Now you are in a position where if you lose your stack again you are done for the night. You’ve spent so much time preparing to take risks that your game prep now does not match the context of the game you are in.
