Most of the players of poker feel that the table position does not matter at all which is absolutely wrong and not at all precise. The table positions are as important as the game itself and hence play a significant role in the way you are playing and the type of moves you can make. The table position in the poker game determines the position or the seating order that the players are seated from the dealer in the full size poker tables which also determines the sequence of their play.

The person who sits immediately left to the dealer is the first person to play and the chances are carried on in clockwise direction. The later the player’s positions are the better he can play as he is getting the chance to see how the rest of the players are playing. The person who is playing the earliest has got limited knowledge regarding the hands of his opponents and hence can play very limited with his casino clay chips.

Having the dealers position otherwise termed as the button position on the poker table is the best position as he is the last person to play and hence can get a better view of the game and how others are playing in poker games with either a texas holdem poker chips or las vegas poker chips. The button position players will often be the last player to play after the flop is dealt. Hence you can place your bet in a more profitable manner under this position.

The early positions wherein the players are seated among the three seat left of the dealer are considered to be the worst position in poker in full size poker tables with a number of players. In this position the players play first with the least idea of how the rest of the players are playing and have no base of deciding whether to raise or fold or simply continue to remain in the game.
The middle position as the word implies refer to the players that are seated towards the middle of the button position over the poker table tops. Their positions are better than the players seated to their right or at the early position as they get the chance of seeing how a few of the early players are reacting to their hands and raising bets but even their moves are limited due to lack of information of players seated to their left who need to be played yet.
The late positions are definitely the best position in the poker since these are the players who can see the rest of the players play their part and the late position players can play the best and make the most favorable move raising with their chip sets favoring them over the poker table tops.

The game poker very much depends on the games of your opponents and his bet and the expressions that he holds while playing his moves, hence the table position really matters a player to help him determine his own moves and act according to the game played over the poker tables by his opponents.
